Pro coaches different parts of your throw, not the same things in fancier words. On top of everything Amateur flags, it looks for fine details Amateur skips — pocket timing, head drift, posture tilt, plant-foot stability, whether your arm slows before release — and it describes all of it in real coaching terms (brace, pocket, hip–shoulder separation) rather than everyday explanations.
Turn your phone sideways — the wide way — so your whole throw fits in the picture.
Filming from a computer works, with one thing missing.
Get in position — I'll tell you when I see it.
Hold both hands up to finish — or tap below.
Let's get you set up
1
Sound on. Take your phone off silent and turn the volume up — every instruction is spoken.
2
Turn your phone sideways — the wide way, not tall. Do this for every throw type.
3
Stand it up about waist height — on your bag, a bench, a fence post. Flat on the ground is too low: I lose your feet and the read gets worse.
4
Walk back 4–5 big steps and turn side-on. Your whole body — head to feet — needs to be in the picture; I'll guide you into the right spot.
5
Then just listen. I talk you through everything — you won't need to touch the screen again.
I've done this before — skip
Sound check
I just said "Hello! Can you hear me?" out loud.
1
Silent switch: on iPhone, flip the small switch on the left side so no orange shows. On Android, turn off Do Not Disturb / vibrate mode.
2
Volume up: press the volume-up button a few times.
3
Then tap Try again.
Which hand do you throw with?
The hand that holds and releases the disc — backhand or forehand.
You can change it any time in Setup.
How much coaching do you want?
Pick the one that sounds like you. You can change it any time — and I'll suggest a change if it looks wrong for you.

“I know my form and I want the fine details.”
Watches: everything Amateur does, plus fine details it skips — pocket timing, head drift, posture tilt, plant-foot stability, arm slowing before release
Talks like: real coaching terms, not everyday explanations
Quick check: do brace, pocket and hip–shoulder separation already mean something to you? If not, Amateur will be far more useful.
